Yes - as an eye-searing pink, not a pleasant pink.

 

I have some mild deficiencies in 4 areas, which each bar somewhat comparable to Redonna's. I wonder how much it would be if I just look with one eye (my left eye has had a sports injury and now has an artificial lens in it).

Yama Budo looks very much on the purple side of magenta to me, but not a particularly pretty purple. It's like a darker version of pokeberry juice.

Hmm, I did it again, this time a little more carefully (but still using both eyes) and scored an 11 this time around.

 

Some bars in the yellow, green and green-blue area, nothing in the magenta or red region.

 

I still see Yama Budo as pink, though.

My first ink purchase was Noodler's Rachmaninoff - bright pretty neon pink! My second was Noodler's La Reine Mauve - a nice purple. And recently I bought Monteverde Turquoise and PR Purple Mojo. I do have a brown and a black and other than samples those are all my colors. I certainly would not be averse to owning a Yama-budo, I just can't justify the cost.

I also have a strong preference for the violet/purple side of things. Monteverde Turquoise was my first of that colour. I wonder how much the colour of ambient light affects performance on the colour acuity test.

I just noticed the prices have gone up for some reason.

 

I did not order any as it said it would ship in 2-3 months. It depends on the supplier I'm guessing. On the other hand, several people have reported ordering on a Monday and their orders showing up on Wednesday (within the U.S.).
