Very nice additions since you got the Lapis. I see you couldn't stay away from that m100 size! Very very nice! Congratulations. Now you need the Toledo, and the white gold. Then you will have all five of them! (6 with the Tortise)

Thanks for the compliments ... They are very much appreciated! :notworthy1:

About the invitation to acquire the other "two" Pelikan 100 size need for my collection, I'm not going to buy them because they are aesthetically not up for sobriety and feeling of others already in my possession ... Too flashy for my taste, already the 1931 gold is too, but the small gold barrel size, make it very "refined" but, I think is the last for this Pelikan "reissue"!

I believe that as soon as I can find one, will buy a vintage "100", but only if I'll find one in excellent condition to enjoy a real flexible vintage Pelikan nib, the only thing in this replicas has not been respected or forgotten!

To tell the truth, of the metals, the White Gold was the one I liked the look of best. It looked a lot more like silver and stood out from the pack, but I agree with you on looking for a prime original 100. would mind one myself. But what the heck . . . I can live without it!

Besides the appearance, the biggest flaw of the White Gold version is that every little scratch or mark or better "dent" on the metal you have to go to a car body repairs? Any scratch is not recoverable as one made of celluloid or plastic, with a bit of polish, everything comes off and comes back as a new...

I can live only without "scratch or dent"! :gaah:
