Hello everyone!

My name is Jack and am a very recent convert and have started from near scratch really. An old fountain pen set gifted many years ago was dug out of a box one day and the rest as they say is history.

Mid forties and also a recently retired (Law Enforcement & Military) disabled Veteran having suffered traumatic brain injury and the effects of untreated Lyme Disease. I can tell you it has been an interesting journey and a serious hit to my memory and processing etc.. This, is where my new passion for this hobbies has truly ignited. I can write for hours and thoughts flow onto to the page without restraint. What I write takes a back seat to actually writing. I have gone back and have been amazed, saddened, surprised and at times induced to sheer laughter.

Some interests: History, poetry, people, travel, horses... I am sure the list is longer but it is the memory thing you know.. :)

Well, I suppose everyone gets the idea and it is far too late to make my long story shorter.

Do reach out if the spirit moves you. I will of course do my best to contribute in kind. Be safe..

Hi all if anyone is interested in a pen-pal, that would be pretty dope. I'm a sophomore in college, studying mechanical engineering with a minor in German language. I'm into dope music, literature, film, and engineering/science related topics. Also dank memes. Personal message me because a pen-pal would be super cool.

Some of this might benefit from translation, but I realise it may be a kind of password to separate the dopy dank meme sheep from the non-dopy dank meme goats.

Best wishes,

Timothy

Hello and apologies to former pen pals. I recently moved and lost addresses and would be delighted if you wrote to me again. In the future I will store that information on my phone. I am interested in art, nature, gardening, silly puns, absurd jokes, good wine, strange films, good music, and making myself as comfortable as possible. I would be pleased and honored to receive a letter from you.

Love all, trust a few, do harm to none. Shakespeare

Hi,

Am looking to branch out and meet some new people. I'm 26 and working towards becoming a teacher. My hobbies include reading and writing, computer gaming, my cat, soccer, cooking and eating. I majored in History (China & Japan) and minored in Religion (Theology), the latter mainly so I could apply the analytical skills I learnt from my History professors in a different context. I had thought about doing English as a minor but the English profs I had were not impressive. One outright said that she would grade lower if we tried to argue a viewpoint different from her own.

But I'm open to talk about anything really. Except to explain to you where babies come from. I absolutely refuse to have that talk. My grade school students once tried to ask me that and now I refuse to broach that subject.

If you're game, PM me.

Best regards

Ian

Hi im looking for penpals and hope you could help me I hate to admit it but I have no friends due to my health for yrs now and recently been thinking about this and thought pen Palling would be a good idea to start from. I don't know if you can PM me or Skype me if you would like to write to me.

But thank you for reading this

I'm 28 I love my partner of 10 yrs and our son 8 yrs and is autistic which is why I'm happy for kids and teens to write to us too. So I'm not looking for love or anything like that just friends.

I'm currently learning Calligraphy for an out for my health as i have sever Fibromyalgia and chronic pain in my hips but enough about that

I love Fountain pens (and would love to learn more on them), Tattoos, Tigers, Silver Jewellery, Photography, most Art and Art Nuvo, Music is a must even though im hard of hearing in both ears i just look at it as an excuse to turn the volume up lol

I cant wait to read from other people who love the same things i do

see you soon

I'm happy to receive letters ect . . . From all over the world from any age race and disability BUT must write in English though and can write as regularly as they like

Hi everyone!

So I've finally come around to post my interest for pen pals! I know, I'm quite late to the party but hey, better late than never!

About me: I'm 34, happily married and we have 4 cats and a Yorkie. Main interests are music, photography, movies, fantasy and science fiction books, role playing games (both online and tabletop!), cats and obviously fountain pens and inks (a hobby my wife actively encourages!).

We live in Paris due to my current work, though that situation changes every 2-6 years.

I look forward to exchanging letters soon! Send me a PM if interested!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

I know some of you guys and gals are my pen pals on here. I lost my dog of 13 yrs yesterday and had a lovely math exam today. This week has been rough so if I owe you a letter I will more than likely get back to writing tomorrow just to get my mind off things.

Hi Everyone

I am recently retired, with a background in the arts and as a director of a performance centre. I enjoy a variety of music styles but I'm a folk music lover for sure. Happily married, one grandchild, pretty positive and young at heart. One of my interests has also been building mountain dulcimers and I'd love to learn more about the Appalachian mountain areas and find a writing friend there. Specifically I'm interested to develop some writing friendships with someone in Japan, Alaska and Canada's East coast. Would prefer to find friends in the fifty plus age group as our life experiences may have some common ground.

I'd commit to three or four people with similar interests. Please message me privately if you interested

Thanks and hope to hear from a few folks

Good morning FPNers!

My name is Anabelle, and i'd be very interested to start off a pen pal endeavour.

I am 22 years of age. I’m a German-born, Austrian-raised, British-matured, Dutch-taught harpist and up until recently studied harp at the conservatory in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, I had to, somewhat abruptly, quit my studies due to health issues. I still make music every day, I paint, I draw, and lastly, I made it a habit to collect, repair, and maintain old/vintage fountain pens.

I speak english, german and dutch, and shall be very excited to hear from some of you!

P.S. I'd like to kill two birds with one stone by also practicing my handwriting with my weaker hand as I write to you. Hope that'd be alright for you, whoever you are!
