most of these inks are from samples

done by dipping my waterman 52 1/2 v fountain pen. swabs are from q tip.

currently i own 7 bottles, but have 8 more bottles on the way..and plan on expanding my collection from these samples.

first two pics are scans

the rest are photos taken from iphone

also posting some dupes to compare similar colors.

i'm surprised how much Diamine Pink looks like an orange!! A Noodler's Dragon's Napalm orange no less.

unfortunately the true colors are somewhere between the scans and the pics..but this is as close as one can get without testing them all yourself...maybe it will help guide someone deciding between colors.

Wow. Kudos and thanks.

Now, of course, we need chromatography strips, pH sensitivities and UV fade tests of all that. Or maybe not.

Being a blue-black fan myself it looks like I will have to find space for a bottle of PR Tanzanite in the ink tray.

^ oh yay! i'm glad you found a color u liked!

i am not a blue black kind of person!

i have noodler's black. and a few blues. i do like lighter blues like turquoises and acqua/mediterranean colors...

basically anything that isn't professional looking, i like.

Wow! This is great. I appreciate the time you spent doing this. I love blue and green, and feel a need to have one or two nice blacks. But I love purples, fuchsias, and pinks. I keep thinking of the paint commercial for the purple paint. While I love these colors, it is so hard for me to find a shade, or shades rather, that I can live with. I've been sampling a lot of them. Most all of the ones I've tried you have here too. I am amazed at how the depth of color and shade can even vary from pen to pen.

I like the bright colors, but like shades that are not so bright they are hard to read a whole page of it. You have helped me in my inky adventures. Thank you! :D
