Oh yes, Bookman, you have some of my favorites inked up there.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Just loaded the Pelikan Edelstein Smokey Quartz, scored from last night's Pelikan Hub, in to a 3.8mm Pilot Parallel pen to see how it behaves. Not really into brown inks for writing, but it looks pretty good in the very broad Parallel pen. Now to practice (aka learn!) some Carolingian ...

Cheers,

Effrafax.

Handsome selection. I like the Red Dragon for a spark of intensity. ;)

Bilberry is a new ink for me; Sargasso Sea and Toffee Brown are only somewhat less new. All three have quickly jumped into the top tier of my favorites.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Well, gentlemen, let's CRV. I'll load up Chisholm and compare it to Chisholm and Toffee Brown. And I will also load up some lovely blurples for comparisons to Sargasso Sea and Bilberry.

It's fun to play even with just one color. Napalm always used Asa Gao which worked out great because you could really see the differences in inks when you always had a single reference.

Just a couple of my standards for me today:

Aurora Black in my Duofold International

Pilot Blue-black in my 1970s Sailor.

You can't always get what you want... but if you try sometimes... you just might find... you'll get what you need...
