Gorgeous inks! Wish I could get some of the Pomegranate (or maybe that should be Pornagranate).

WOW, you make these look amazing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Haha that's definitely one way to describe this ink! There is something very sensual about it. It's the only red ink that I really enjoy using even as a main ink for pages of note-taking. I wrote levenger a lengthy, glowing review around the time of its discontinuation and didn't hear back. I wish they'd bring it back so more people can enjoy it

Thank you! They're all such wonderful inks to begin with and then to make the sheen pop even more, all of my pens are very wet writers and I only write on the smoother, less absorbent side of rhodia paper. It's crazy how much of a difference there is between the two sides!

After cycling through several inks looking for "the one", I'm back to Kana-cho Midnight in the M300.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I seem to be having a Diamine week: Majestic Blue, Sunset and (Shimmertastic) Brandy Dazzle - all shading, sheen and sparkle.

I'm a major sheen-a-holic, but dislike shimmer inks. The only exception is the beautiful Emerald of Chivor. In todays combination (Pelikan M600 with a very wet Masuyama smooth stub nib on Rhodia paper) the sheen is BLINDING B) B) B) !!

Diamine Lavender in my Waterman Hémisphère and Diamine Eau de Nil in my Baoer 801 Aurora Borealis. I am seriously in love with Eau de Nil.

WAY too many. I have temporarily relocated my pen box to right next to my desk chair. That... may... have been a mistake...

Blues and violets

  • Pelikan royal blue - I don't like it, but it's useful.
  • Pelikan blue-black - dignified, oddly charming and an all-time favorite.
  • Pelikan violet - probably my favorite violet.
  • Standardgraph cornflower blue (I think) - It's a fun, bright, fruity, summer-y blue and I like it - but maybe not for daily writing.

Greens

  • Pelikan dark green - So much better than brilliant green used to be.

Reds and browns

  • Standargraph burgundy - can be difficult (the color it dries as highly depends on paper and pen, for instance), but rather pretty.
  • Diamine Oxblood - favorite not blue/black/blueblack ink.
  • Diamine Saddle Brown - tends to change color a lot in my pens, but it's a pretty lovely ink.

Namiki Blue, KWZ IG Turquoise, Iroshizuku Tsutsuji, and an orange (Fuyu-gaki? Diamine Orange?)

I've been on a quest to see if I could commit all Seven Deadly Sins in a single day. Finally, it dawned on me I shouldn't try for the One Day Wonder Prize for all seven in one day. It's simply out of any question as you can't commit decent sloth while busily ticking the other six off your crowded "to do" list. -- ViolinWriter
