Tonight will be Kobe #51 Kana-cho Midnight, which I received on Wednesday. I'm trying it out in a JIF for now and am interested in seeing how it looks on the copy paper at work.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I was in mood of sketching, and then remembered its the anniversary of release of "Nelson Mandella" from the prison year 1990, so decided to sketch him, hope you all will like it:

Does it have the gold sheen? Your "sketches" are as always, amazing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Just made a journal entry in my Hobonichi Techo with Sailor Tanna japonnensis in a Montegrappa Extra 1930 with a broad nib.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Thank you Amber, no gold sheen :( just the golden particles.

I meant the particles. I just didn't see them in the picture. Does it add to the picture or detract? You always do great stuff!

Yes the golden particles are there and very nice, I wanted them to be there, it looks very nice on black/grey ink, you can see some of them near the left eye in the first picture :)

Pilot Mixable Green in a Pilot Parallel 2.4mm. A lovely shade of green, but the ink tends to misbehave, feathering on any kind of paper. Doubleplusungood.

Practice, patience, perseverance

Yama-budo, Tsutsuji, Namiki Black, and KWZ IG Red no. 3 today.

I've been on a quest to see if I could commit all Seven Deadly Sins in a single day. Finally, it dawned on me I shouldn't try for the One Day Wonder Prize for all seven in one day. It's simply out of any question as you can't commit decent sloth while busily ticking the other six off your crowded "to do" list. -- ViolinWriter

It's been a bit of a busy day for me:

1) diluted Birmingham Pens Shadyside Walnut Street Brown -- Sheaffer Balance Oversize, prob. F nib

2) Noodler's Heart of Darkness -- Noodler's Charlie, fiex nib

3) Noodler's Ellis Island Blue Black -- Lamy Safari (Dark Lilac) -- F nib

4) Noodler's Blue Ghost -- Noodler's Charlie (flex nib)

And I haven't even used my Ink of the Week today -- only refilled the pen.... :headsmack:

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
