MB Royal Blue in a MB146 w/ OB nib

Black Eel in a MB146 w/ EF/F nib

PR DCSS Blue in a Ranga 3 w/ 1.1mm stub Edison nib

I have a tear of happiness!

You motivated me, somehow MBRB did not end up in my 366 inks last year so I inked up. Now it is #376. (As you can see, I'm not inking up a new ink each day. I'm sort of burned out).

I also inked up Rohrer & Klinger Super 5 Dublin.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Today(ish) ...

Sheaffer Prelude B with Waterman Harmonious Green

Kaweco Al-sport M with Noodler's Bad Black Mocassin

Edison Collier F with Sailor Jentle Do-You

TWSBI Vac 700 with Diamine Shimmertastic Blue Pearl

Pilot 78G B (Italic) with Noodler's General of the Armies

Cross Solo with a fpnibs Italic 1.1 nib and Diamine Shimmertastic Red Lustre

and on my desk at the office, a Sheaffer Imperial desk pen with a blue Skrip cartridge ---which doesn't get much use.

This has led me to realise that I'm very far from 3 pens at a time rule lol

Noodler's Ellis Island Blue Black, in the Dark Lilac Safari.

J Herbin 1670 Anniversary Rouge Hematite (original formula) in the Pelikan M 100 -- the 1 mm nib does wonders for this ink!

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Yama-dori and Pelikan 4001 Pink.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

J. Herbin Larmes de Cassis in a Kaweco Classic Sport, 1.1mm nib. After a week in the pen, the ink is darker and lovelier.

Practice, patience, perseverance

I am using Robert Oster Purple Rock in two pens, a Parker 51 that writes a very fine line and a Levenger Galaxy Aurora with a medium point. No one would ever guess that the ink was the same: the Levenger pen produces a gray purple, as one would expect, while the Parker 51 produces a color near black, with a tinge of green.

Today was bookkeeping day! Since I do every account with a different color I used:

Noodler's Liberty Elysium in the Platinum 3776

In the Monteverde, 50:50 Noodler's Zhivago:R&K Helianthus (dubbed Faux Daniel DeFoe from Tas here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/279433-inky-t-o-d-color-swatches-green-please-post-your-pictures-and-tell-us-your-thoughts/?p=3228879) THIS is a beautiful color... I don't even feel bad that I can't get the MB version!

In the TWSBI 580: Iroshizuku Yama-budo

In the Lamy Safari: 50:50 Pilot Blue:Monteverde Black (not sure I'll repeat this mix)

In the TWSBI Eco: Sailor Yama-dori

and a pink cartridge in the Platinum Preppy.

Namiki Blue, KWZ IG Turquoise, and Iroshizuku Tsutsuji today. And KWZ IG Red no. 3 and Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun. (Almost forgot the last two).

I've been on a quest to see if I could commit all Seven Deadly Sins in a single day. Finally, it dawned on me I shouldn't try for the One Day Wonder Prize for all seven in one day. It's simply out of any question as you can't commit decent sloth while busily ticking the other six off your crowded "to do" list. -- ViolinWriter

Robert Oster Fire and Ice in a new TWSBI clear Eco stub.

Waterman Serenity Blue in an Esterbrook LJ with the smoothest M nib you ever saw.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Hermes Rouge H in a Pilot Falcon SM.

Always wanted to try out this ink and managed to get a box in CDG while on transit.

I would call it a muted red, drying out to something close to brown-red.
