Last night was Lamy Coral and Tsuki-yo; tonight, Tokiwa-matsu and KWZ Maroon, I think.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

So far it's been Robert Oster Moss, in a Morrison filigree overlay ringtop, followed by vintage Skrip Peacock Blue in an Eversharp Symphony -- when the Morrison ran out of ink (the Eversharp also went dry, but it was easy to refill from the bottle; the Morrison, being so small, not so much from a sample vials...) or my morning pages journal entry. And then Diamine Oxford Blue, in a resin-bodied Noodler's Konrad.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

OOOOH....

I don't normally like that shade of green, but the bronze particles set it off nicely.

Nothing quite so glitzy for me today:

diluted Skrip Purple (Sheaffer Balance Oversize)

diluted Califolio Bonne Esperance (Dollar 717i)

(reconstituted?) Carter's Blue Black (Parker Emerald Pearl Slender)

Experimenting with Akkerman #5 Shocking Blue.

And yes, I was very careful when opening it. I got most of the ink from the top back into the main reservoir by gently tipping sideways, then opened the top very, very carefully. I was rewarded with a small stream of bubbles from the main chamber up through the neck, but with no splashing. Now I know that Campbelltown is only a few hundred feet above sea level, but with Den Haag being only a few metres above, it's enough to make a difference.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Akkerman Ball-In-Bottle bottles, here are some piccies

Beautiful!

I'm using something far less spectacular today - Diamine Prussian Blue in an old Monteverde.

Practice, patience, perseverance

Iroshizuku Fuyu-syogun in a Pilot Custom 823, Namiki Blue in a blue marbled Waterman Phileas, and R & K Alt-Goldgrun in a Pilot Custom 92. I'm very pleased with these ink-pen pairings, despite a nagging feeling I should have a brown ink in the 823.

I've been on a quest to see if I could commit all Seven Deadly Sins in a single day. Finally, it dawned on me I shouldn't try for the One Day Wonder Prize for all seven in one day. It's simply out of any question as you can't commit decent sloth while busily ticking the other six off your crowded "to do" list. -- ViolinWriter
