Two unidentified (and very impressive) green-blacks in a P51 Demi and Faber Castell Ondoro. One of my friends has a vast array of pens and inks - and no ink log :)

No ink log? That would make me completely bonkers....

For me, so far today it's been Skrip Blue, in the Cedar Blue 51 Vac with the EF nib (but I slept in, so I'm moving a bit slowly...).

Yesterday it was Skrip Purple in the Sheaffer Balance Oversize I just got repaired at the Ohio Pen Show (it's the pen I think was originally my husband's grandfather's pen), and some vintage Skrip Peacock -- also from OPS -- in the Eversharp Symphony I got last winter (and which apparently does NOT need to be repaired just yet...).

Wow, that is a lovely green, mehandiratta.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Ink in use is Waterman Harmonious Green.

Wow, isn't it gorgeous? The pen, the script, and the ink which always seemed so boring... Here it shines. Bravo!

Thank you for the compliment ...

I believe this green is one of the best green available in the market and that too easily...

dcwaites- Your Kaigelu 316 is gold in color at the top of the cap. All that I've seen are black, is there a story?

Yep, the story is that the cap finial came off, and I re-glued it back on. However, that did not set the clip properly, so I had to soften the glue and remove the finial again before re-gluing it properly. However, my re-gluing was better than I thought, and I needed some help with rubber-gripped pliers, which removed some of the black lacquer. So I removed the rest, giving me a gold-coloured (brass, actually) cap finial which nicely matched the clip and cap bands.

BTW, the glue used is the Australian glue Prep Multihesive, a "styrene acrylate, water based multi-purpose adhesive, originally designed to replace PVA adhesives for all building and craft projects" It is a strong styrene glue, like the original (1960's) Tarzan's Grip, but with the ease of use of PVA glues.

It also softens under hot water, so you can undo it if necessary.

Thanks! I knew something was up.

You're using my two favorite inks! Blue Velvet is also very close to the Faux Penman #9 which dcwaites/amberleadavis concocted as a replacement for Parker Penman Sapphire. On days when I have a batch of FPPS#9 mixed up I slightly prefer it to Blue Velvet.
