Iroshizuku Yu-Yake in my Sailor ProGear II. Too bright for a Japanese Medium, but still legible.

A handful, holdover fron my residency days.

One bright nonstandard color for overnight reports from staff- Noodler's Habañero in an ED Preppy.

One red, for notes on my rounds- a red closely matching Red Wings red from Tekker in a Pilot Kaküno.

One blue, for my notes about patients- Noodler's 54th Massachusetts in a Pilot Metropolitan.

One green, for notes to tell overnight staff- Diamine Sherwood Green in a Kaweco Sport.

Physician- signing your scripts with Skrips!

I'm so tough I vacation in Detroit.

Finally tried out Noodler's Baystate Blue. It doesn't disappoint! I only have a sample, but I will definitely buy the bottle and have a dedicated pen for this ink.

Trying out new Oster Signature ink purchases; Fire & Ice, Charcoal and Rubine.

The Fire & Ice looks interesting. How are you getting along with it?

Early days, but it's looking good. I can't get as much sheen as I expected, but the basic colour is very attractive. As I'm in the UK too, would you like me to send you a sample to try? Send me a PM if you'd like some.

Where's your source of RO inks in U.K., Migo?

I get my inks sent direct from Rob Oster.

There's only one supplier in the UK (IZods) that I know of, and they only have an extremely limited selection. I wish another, larger stockist would take up his inks, with more choice.

The best selection in the EU (as far as I'm aware) is Sakura Fountain Pen Gallery in Belgium. They will

probably be a better choice for you in Paris.

I see. I checked out Sakura before, and found the shipping a bit too much. The inks aren't cheap either (costing more than a Montblanc LE), so I guess I'll wait till there're some really special colours.

I agree; they are *very* expensive in the UK and EU :-(

Mad as it sounds, it is cheaper to buy from Aus, even with shipping, if you buy a few bottles. Bottles are AUSD$15, with shipping around $23 for up to 6 bottles.

How do you buy directly from him? Through email?

I am appreciating Robert Oster Purple Rock in a slightly broader nib. When applied with my Parker 51, Purple Rock produced an attractive, soft gray on every paper I tried, but with a Waterman fine point, I can see the purple constituent on Rhodia and some other papers.

Tonight at work: Tokiwa-matsu, Steadtler F1; KWZ Maroon, JIF 2; MB Golden Yellow, Pelikano P67; Noodler's black Red, Herbin rollerball.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.
