Very handsome! Have you compared it either to Private Reserve Naples Blue or Sailor Souten? I wonder if the quality of the sheen is comparable (but I know that with Napes and Souten the sheen is red).

sailor souten is light blue ink with reddish sheen... love that also..

no PR with me...

Today it's been (so far, anyway):

Diamine Oxford Blue (speaking of inks that sheen) in a Noodler's PFC;

Akkerman #13 Simplisties Violet in a Cross Solo;

Akkerman #10 Ijzer-Galnoten in a Parker Vector;

Waterman Mysterious Blue in a Parker Vacumatic 2nd Generation (Speedline filler).

It is but on the other hand it's high-maintenance ink. I can use it in Jinhao but that's all.

It goes well in my TWSBI Eco, with reasonably easy cleaning. The Dr Martin's Black was much more stubborn, surprisingly, but the Pen Flush sorted it out. I would be most hesitant to use these in more expensive pens.

The Dr Ph Martin's Ocean inks need to be used in a pen with a perfectly sealing cap - Sailor, Platinum Preppy, Platinum 3776 slip'n'seal, etc.

However, my Ocean Edge Blue doesn't look as Navy Blue as the one above.

@dcwaites - the photos in this topic are made with smartphone without reasonable white balance. It's just to get thread doing :) I'll post review of this ink soon, I believe scans will be more accurate :)

Today I have Kaweco Skyline with double broad nib filled with Kyonooto's Aonibi. I love this ink :)

It doesn't look like the Aonibi I have... :unsure:
