Which Inks Are You Using Today?

So far today it's been Diamine Mediterranean Blue and Akkerman Shocking Blue. I'm trying to wean down the stash of pens in rotation because it's gotten a bit unwieldy again, and I don't want to fill any pens until I get a few flushed out (did the Laidtone Duofold (vintage Quink Violet) a couple of days ago, then just refilled the factory stub nibbed Snorkel with distilled water (vintage Skrip Peacock). At the moment the Cross Solo (the one with Mediterranean Blue) is soaking in ammonia solution with a little Dawn dish detergent added. The Vector with the Shocking Blue might be next.... Or the 51 Demi (currently sporting the last of Iroshihzuku Ama-Iro).

I want to have something with brown ink and something with green ink in them soon, but am trying to be really good about flushing at least two pens before filling another one. And I want something relatively permanent in about 3-4 weeks (maybe an IG ink) -- and had a dream about trying to write with one of the Vectors I got a few months ago on eBay. So, definitely that avocado green colored Vector is wanting to go INTO rotation....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Montblanc Permanent Black in my little black Meisterstück edelharz with Linda Kennedy DailyItalic nib.

Noodler's Ottoman Azure in my poor little cracked-barreled Platinum 3776 Century Shoji with Mottishaw-stubbed B nib.

Chesterfield Ruby in my Platinum 3776 Century Yamanaka with Mottishaw-stubbed B nib.

Walking around the office scanning and processing batches of documents ... dull work, but the pens and inks make it bearable. Got my little workflow going.

Today's pens are the same as I have been using for the last week and a half.
