Good choices.

I really like Kobe #44. Like #48 it gets very little love on here, but i think they look great.

I put some Noodler's Habanero in an Ahab with a Goulet 1.1 mm stub nib to see how I would like that color on the same page as Montblanc Irish Green and Diamine Blue Black. Good to go. But I actually like it with Noodler's Ottoman Azure. It's pretty cool on the same page as Diamine Havasu Tuquoise as well.

This is scanned - Red Dragon is not as orange IRL.

My notebook has lousy paper and cannot handle anything but R&K Scabiosa and even that in a medium nib. Tragic that - Scabiosa looks it's best in a wide flowing one.

I won't apologize for the poor photography, since I'm no photographer, and I generally consume my documents online. I write it out, then scan it in. I look at most things on a giant Mac monitor because I'm danged old.

Nagasawa Kobe #55: Not the orange/red some have speculated. It's more dominated by magenta and yellow within the red. Gorgeous color and does well on low quality paper too--glad I picked it up!

Look at that old gold sheen. :cD

Yes, I'm really enjoying #55 too. Glad I bought some despite less than favourable initial opinions on here.

Is it the one you mailed to me that was so pretty? I've been stalking the Kobe inks to see if it appears. I really like super saturated reds.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
