J. Herbin Emerald de Chivor - I can't get enough of this ink.

J. Herbin Bleu Ocean - becoming more of a favourite each passing day

Private Reserve Avacado - an ongoing favourite.

Later today I'll fill a pen with one of my new Diamine Shimmertastic inks.

Diamine (Shimmertastic) Brandy Dazzle - not just shimmer, great shading as well.

Diamine (Shimmertastic) Purple Pazzazz - lovely, rich, dark purple and the shimmer is a bonus.

Iroshizuku Yama-budo.

It sheens like nobody's business!

It sure as heck does! ;) Even my scanner can pick up the sheen!

I'm sending you a letter with KPR and SW for you to CRV with YB.

(I'm so glad we have our own language, I'm going to see if my teenager can decrypt my message to H.)

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I just realised that I am having a Montblanc day:

Twilight in my Visconti Rembrandt, M.

Midnight Blue in my Pelikan M150, F.

Burgundy Red in my TWSBI 580, M.

Poppy Red in my Sheaffer Javelin, M.

Lavender Purple in my Kaweco Sport, 1.1 mm.

  • 2 weeks later...

Diamine Majestic Purple in a Lamy Vista with a 1.1 mm italic nib.

I bought empty ink bottles from Goulet pens for my Frankenink recipes. They came with "remnants". So far, I've had 3 fills off these remnants. Total bonus. Now I can try inks that I almost certainly would not have bothered to try.
