Lately I have using mainly Sumi ink, for Japanese calligraphy, but I continue to use Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu and Sailor Kobe Suma Purple in my fountain pens every day.  In fact, I am hoping to empty one fountain pen or the other within the next week, because I am going on a road trip on Saturday and don't like to leave pens inked at home when I travel.  (The pen I don't empty will go with me on the trip.)

Ah ha! So that's the trick! Cover over the barcode!
I've tried "return-to-sender" on a bunch of items lately and they always wind up right back in my mailbox.
Now I know what to do...thank you!!

Gives me an excuse to use black ink....

Ohhhh... all of those look really nice. Is that a green-leaning grey?

Stormy Blue looks a lot like other dark blue inks I have -- but that doesn't mean I wouldn't try it.  Misty Violet looks rather nice.

Anyone know how hard these are to get in the US?  (I know, I know -- like I REALLY need more ink...).

As far as I know, these inks are only available from Fritz Schimpf in Germany, so shipping to the US is pretty steep. I bought them along with the Pelikan M205 Petrol, which amortized the shipping cost somewhat, otherwise shipping would have been almost as much as all 7 inks.

So tempting! (They want 42 EUR to ship just one bottle to me here in Thailand. Maybe I can get one of my German friends to bring me some when returning here...)

While I have not ordered ink from Fritz-Schimpf, I did order a pen from them. Their service is spectacular; they sent a bottle of Montblanc Royal Blue with the pen, so I have received ink from them. They also sent some of their superb writing paper. The manager is named Sebastian Stolz. We emailed back and forth a few times and his English is excellent—I only know how to order beer in German; this has served me well over the years.

It is a little difficult to tell which inks they have on their website. You might do well to send them an email inquiry. I was able to pay with paypal, so the transaction was easy.

brokenclay ordered her Pelikan M205 Petrol from them and some ink to go with it. She posted a photo:

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

They might also want 42 EUR to ship all 7 bottles. I paid 30 EUR to ship 7 bottles, the Pelikan M205, and an Advent calendar (my grandparents & uncle live in Tübingen, it's a sentimental thing) to the US.

It is hard to find stuff on their website, even if you read German. Here are the item IDs for the inks:

Fritz Schimpf gelassenheit (relaxed purple) fountain pen ink  Item #: FSTgela
Fritz Schimpf morgenroete fountain pen ink  Item #: FSmor
Fritz Schimpf niebla (misty violet) fountain pen ink  Item #: FSTnieb
Fritz Schimpf Vierer Füllhaltertintenset  Item #: FSTVierer

The last one is 4 inks: gewitterwolke, sirimiri, sundowner and fritzrot.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Noodler's Burgundy in my Montblanc 146 Bordeaux with a medium nib

At one time, I was trying to collect all the standard line of Noodler's inks. Then, Noodler's ate one too many of my ink sacs and curbed my affair with it. I seem to have used one pen fill of this bottle and then put it away for years. Hopefully, it's chemical smell isn't a sign it's going off.

One the plus side, it's a good match for this pen's color and seems to write just fine. It's just a flat, saturated, reddish burgundy with no noticeable variation. Here it is on blue paper:
