Which Inks Are You Using Today?

Today I am using diluted Rohrer & Klingner Aubergine in my Parker 51 plum Demi. I like Aubergine better at full strength, but when this particular pen runs dry, I always fill it with distilled water and write with the result until the pen is empty for a second time, to reduce the amount of flushing I eventually have to do.

So far Montblanc Lavender Purple in a Pilot Prera fine. In my experience, Lavender Purple needs a slightly broader nib or a wetter pen to look its best, but my need today is for an ink dry enough, in a nib abstemious enough, to allow me to underline passages in a paperback book.

Currently using Montblanc Midnight Blue in a Ranga 8B Pen and Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black in Parker 51.

Thinking of switching to some Diamine shades but am unable to decide the pens to be inked.

I am using Bay State Blue, and Noodlers Marine Green.

If I have checks or documents to sign I have one I call Super Ganges Blue.

It's a blend of Upper Ganges and DC Super Show Blues and private Reserve tanzanite. Makes a very nice, reasonably deep and brighter blue, while being 50% bullet proof.

Take-sumi tonight, haven't used this in a while.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.
