I emptied out my Sailor with Diamine Dark Forest and my vintage Pelikan MK with Diamine Matador so this morning I refilled the first with Pelikan Smoky Quartz (perfect combo) and the latter with Diamine Steel Blue.

It's been a while since I used both colors and can't wait to see them fresh on paper again.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

I caught up with both my pens and Chinese lessons this morning:
Colorverse Morning Star (in a Montblanc Swift)
Noodler's Red Black (in a Cross Year of the Rooster) (you can tell Noodler's Red Black takes its own sweet time to dry...)

Just ran the Namiki Falcon dry of its Kensington Blue, and this pen is going out of rotation.

Parker 51 with its Waterman Serenity Blue is still writing...though I’ve no idea how it can still have any ink in it.

Moss green and Stipula Purple, which is rapidly becoming a favorite.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I am having a similar experience with Rohrer & Klingner Aubergine in a Parker 51. At this point, I need to run the nib under the tap sometimes to start the flow, but I've used the pen at least a little every day for more than two months, and it's still writing.

This is my first Parker 51 and it’s ink capacity is just amazing me!

Having blown through my sample of Fuyu-gaki, I dug out my bottle of Kin-mosukei and am using it now in the same JIF.

So far today it's been Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black, in the M405 Anthracite Stresemann, and Sailor Souboku in the Noodler's ebonite Konrad.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

PenBBS 355 Jinhao M: KWZ Maroon

Lovely ink in a lovely pen. I really love this combination and have been refilling (rare for me!) since the beginning of autumn. Actually thinking about doing a review...

Lamy 2000 B: J. Herbin Bleu Azure

Even in this gusher the ink shows up almost too pale to be legible. And yet... there is something to it. The colour is indeed extremely reminiscent of a clear sky, which everybody is craving now that the autumnal blanket has spread over the city. I think I'll be ordering a small 10ml bottle of it with my next order, just to have it around when I'm craving that freshness.

Of course, there are way more inked pens on my desk right now, but these two are seeing the most intense use at the moment.

Iroshizuku Kiri-Same gray - new fill today - Conklin Duragraph with medium cursive italic nib

Iroshizuku Tsukushi - old fill, but still going strong in a large Montblanc 149 reservoir with good sealing

Sailor Ink Studio 241 in a Kaweco Perkeo with Fine nib - really enjoying this complex turquoisey-blue for random notes; seems to be very similar to Montblanc Chinese Blue but a bit lighter

Sailor Souboku in Parker 51 with fine nib - always on standby (though sometimes with Sailor Sei-Boku)

“I admit it, I'm surprised that fountain pens are a hobby. ... it's a bit like stumbling into a fork convention - when you've used a fork all your life.”

Rohrer und Klingner Sepia in a matte black Lamy Safari with a black B nib
KWZ IG Blue #1 in a PenBBS MianMian 322 mini fude
A recurring combination:

KWZ Rotten Green in a Wing Sung 618 EF. Very lovely green/turqoise with strong grey tones. I just ordered a bottle of it because I found I was rationing my sample out of love.

Sailor Kingdom Note Marsupenaeus japonicus from the Crustacean Series in a Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoise (2016)

KWZ Fontoplumo Monarch in an Edison Beaumont pneumatic.

I had forgotten how nice the Monarch ink was, both color and performance.

Still working through the Ishida Bungu Hakodate Twilight in the Gate City Belmont. That should be done soon.
