So far it's been vintage Quink Green (can't tell if it's Washable Green or Permanent Green, because there was no label on the bottle (but it's the bottle style from the 1940s, like my bottles of Microfilm Black). Oh, and technically Akkermann Dutch Masters Stormachtig Blauw, since I was up past midnight checking out today's NaPoWriMo 2019 prompt.

It's weird that I tried doing NaNoWriMo last fall and it was an epic fail (seriously? November? How is someone supposed to juggle Thanksgiving AND the Ohio Pen Show and get 50000 words on paper?) . But even with the weird-@ss prompts so far for NaPoWriMo (and this is only Day 3, not counting the "early bird prompt" -- which netted me a very long (60 lines!) poem in iambic pentameter blank verse -- and I'm able to find the kernel of an idea and get it down on paper every day for NaPoWriMo....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Using Diamine Ancient Copper loaded in a Parker Sonnet Cisele

Wow, that is gorgeous! All of your drawings are amazing. After seeing them, I think pen and ink may be wasted on me. Still, here goes:

All my J. Herbin 1670 and 1798 inks in my collection of Pilot Parallel Pens. Awesome, these may just take up permanent residence.

Noodlers Purple Heart in my Montblanc 146 Bordeaux with a medium nib. Underwhelming. Also, Meh.

Noodlers Black Eel in my Pilot Namiki with a Spencerian Nib filled from a Goulet sample. Wow, 1.5ml is a tiny amount of ink.

Sailor Shikiori, Pilot Iroshuzuku Ku-jaku and Yama-budo in my remaining Pilot Parallels. My first bottles of Japanese ink just came today. Still formulating an opinion on these. Love the bottles!

Every year I tell myself, This is the year I win NaNoWriMo! I even bought a laptop to make it easier. So far, no novel.

Im beginning to think my one great talent in life is shopping.

Also, today its Jacques Herbin 1670 Emeraude de Chivor. My words may not exactly be burning the paper theyre written upon with their brilliance, but at least my handwriting looks pretty. Or like a cheap stripper, you choose.

Today I have used Sailor Kobe Suma Purple in two pens, a Sailor Pro Gear Slim F and a Sailor Pro Gear Slim B. Suma Purple looks black in the F nib but shows its purple colors in the B nib.

I am also using Montblanc Lavender Purple in a Waterman Elegance M nib.
