Akkerman Dutch Masters #01 Ceruleum Blauw van Vermeer @ Pilot Falcon [soft Extra Fine],

Akkerman Dutch Masters #01 Ceruleum Blauw van Vermeer @ Pilot Custom Heritage 912 [FA],

Akkerman Dutch Masters #01 Ceruleum Blauw van Vermeer @ Pelikan M400 White Tortoise [italic Broad] and

Akkerman Dutch Masters #01 Ceruleum Blauw van Vermeer @ Platinum 3776 Tortoise [broad] to compare the behaviour in different nib widths. Quite impressed with this ink and its lovely hue.

I am soooo happy to read this, after the bottle has been without use over a year at my place. Super!

Today it was two versions of Quink Blue: modern (probably Washable) Blue (cartridge); and vintage (1940s era bottle, I think -- it is similar to my bottles of vintage Microfilm Black) Blue (again, not sure if Washable or Permanent).

I flushed Irish Green out and put in a small fill of Noodler’s Hunter Green. Just curious....

I'm currently using Hunter Green, was attracted to its permanence qualities. Was a bit surprised at how much of a very bright spring green it is, not unattractive but "in your face." Can't see a hunter wearing it;)

So far it has been vintage Quink Green, in the black Laidtone Duofold (Duovac), and what turns out to be (now somewhat diluted) unknown black ink (possibly Quink Black) in a green (teal?) Parker 45 I picked up for cheap a couple of weeks ago.

Let's see...

Sailor Jentle Black in a clear Sailor Jr. Demonstrator

Akkerman Orange Boven in an orange Jinhao 992

Noodler's Cactus Gruene in a green Jinhao 992

Pilot Namiki Blue in a blue Wing Sung pump filler

Ooly Purple in a purple Ooly pen

Lamy Vibrant Pink in the matching pen

Diamine Aqua Blue in a Diplomat Magnum Prismatic Purple that just arrived from Goulet. Couldn't wait to ink it up, and of course it had to be a super-fun color. In this case, I didn't care about matching the pen to the ink, but about how the pen and ink matched in spirit. Aqua Blue worked like a charm.

Today it's mostly been that diluted unknown ink that was in that new-to-me Parker 45. Which is NOW looking more like it might be a blue black ink; plus also using Iroshizuku Yama-budo, in the Decimo. Had forgotten just how much I really like Yama-budo....
