Diamine Grape

Diamine Ancient Copper

Diamine Ancient Oak

Diamine Chocolate

Diamine Meadow

Diamine Pumpkin

Private Reserve Plum

Received some new inks today. All are new except for Private Reserve Plum. Wrote pages and pages of assignment planning notes. My aim seems to be to try every Diamine ink out there. Those cheap 30ml bottles are certainly helping this venture.

I love how Scabiosa looks in a super-wet nib, it's so dark and it shades gorgeously.

+1

I like both, Scabiosa and Salix especially with italic and stub.

Been using RK Scabiosa and Diamine Macassar these days. I love how Scabiosa looks in a super-wet nib, it's so dark and it shades gorgeously.

What pen are you using with Scabiosa?

Two Iros tonight, Take-sumi and Yama-guri. I don't bring the YG oftn but I'm always reminded what a lovely color it is when I do.

How are you finding the Delft blue? I was considering buying a bottle (gorgeous label design) but the ink looked a rather faded shade to me. However I’ve often been pleasantly surprised when seeing inks in real life, when compared to online pics; they are frequently misrepresented in reviews.

I quite like it. It's a bright blue--doesn't look faded. It outlines nicely on TR paper, which I think makes it look more interesting. I haven't seen anything negative about it. I'm using it in a vintage Montblanc with a flexible nib.

Busy day for me pen & ink-wise (I had a couple of pens run out of ink while trying to do my morning pages journal, just to start...).

So for me:

vintage Quink Permanent Violet -- Parker 51 EF

MB Beatles Psychedelic Purple LE -- Pelikan M 120 M

Akkerman Dutch Masters Ceruleum Blauw van Vermeer -- Noodler Konrad, flex nib

Noodler's Suffragists' Carmine -- TWSBI 580-AL B

Noodler's Kung Te Cheng -- Noodler's Charlie, flex nib

Équinoxe 6: really like it, really hard to capture and it changes colour depending on the pen, freshness of inking, paper...

I'm using, as so often, Syo-ro and Tsuki-yo. I am a serious teal fangirl (although Tsuki-yo isn't exactly teal, there's teal in its blue-black depths), and have just ordered Yama-dori to expand my bubble!

Those are in my BB stub and BB CI. In my F grading pen I have Yama-budo. Fuchsia really grabs students' attention.

Tonight I'm using the Stipula Dark Blue that just arrived. Impressed with both the color and performance.
