Today was so chaotic and oppressively hot I couldn't focus on anything, much less studying and writing.

I used RK Scabiosa in my hopeless attempts to get anything done. rip this day.

A rare - well I can't easily find it on a Google search - ink from Salor. I beleive it's called Arashsi Machi (Stormy Town) and Sailor produce it for a store in China.

It's the closest ink, in colour, I've seen to Heironymous Blue 01  and also very similar to Papier Plume's Oyster Grey

Thank you Lgsoltek for this and three other STUNNING ink samples.

I have always been slightly obsessed with artichokes. This is BEAUTIFUL, Tas!!!

Inkwise, I have 15 pens inked right now!?! I think I have found a perfect summer combo.

Today I used:

Diamine November Rain

Levenger Blue Bahama.

Also inked:

Noodlers Lexington Grey

Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black

Diamine Cocoa Shimmer

Akkerman SBRE Brown

Diamine Kelly Green

Sailor Souten

Rogrer & Klinger Magenta

Diamine Lavender

Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu Gaki

Diamine/Akkerman (long name) yellow

Diamine Wild Strawberry

Diamine Majestic Purple

And one other I am forgetting ...

This morning was a multicolor entry in my morning pages journal, finishing up a couple of pens that were very low in the process:

Diamine Shimmertastic Moondust, in the Pelikan M100, 1 mm nib.

vintage Skrip V-Black, in the Burgundy Snorkel Admiral, M nib.

Edelstein Topaze, in the Pelikan M405 Striated Blue, EF nib.

I will probably be using other pens/inks this afternoon, and have to refill yet another pen.

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

B- Omas Roma 2000 Blue G.L. Bernini IV Centenario 1598-1998.

Hm.

Sheaffer Skrip Blue in a Sheaffer School Pen (M) my mom found at an estate sale last week. Amazing writer.

Monteverde Horizon Blue in a Pilot Metro.

Noodler's Ellis Island BB in a Pilot Kakuno.

Monteverde Documental Blue in a Lamy Al-Star EF.

Diamine Sherwood Green in a Kaweco Sport M.

I've yet to see a review anywhere of the Monteverde Documental series. Maybe I'll put one together.

Physician- signing your scripts with Skrips!
