A rare - well I can't easily find it on a Google search - ink from Salor. I beleive it's called Arashsi Machi (Stormy Town) and Sailor produce it for a store in China.

It's the closest ink, in colour, I've seen to Heironymous Blue 01  and also very similar to Papier Plume's Oyster Grey

Thank you Lgsoltek for this and three other STUNNING ink samples.

Tas, love the drawing!! What veggie is it? Looks like an artichoke to me?

And that color is fascinating, I'm not even trying to list all the hues that I see in it. Wow!

Thank you. You are correct. It is meant to be an artichoke. :)

Instead of the 4.5-oz bottle of Noodler's Black, I mistakenly ordered the 4.5-oz bottle of Noodler's Polar Black, which arrived yesterday.

So... I'm trying that out. So far... not bad. Maybe even it's good.

I'm still going to have to order the Noodler's Black, though.

Also using Noodler's Lexington Gray (love it in the Pilot Falcon (SEF) and Montblanc 100-Year Historical).

And Pilot Blue. Lovely, easy-going blue.

Diamine Oxblood for doodling.

An Akkerman blue (unsure which one), the ink was transferred to another bottle a while back.
