KKay - Glad to see you here! Nice selection!!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Yesterday I used all my inks because my Jinhao X450 arrived and I updated my ink journal.

But I mainly used

Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black.

Pelikan 4001 Violett.

Diamine Havasu Turquoise.

Diamine Shimmertastic Shimmering Seas.

J. Herbin 1670 Anniversary Rouge Hematite.

Earlier, I loaded the Jinhao 992 with the sample of KWZ Grey Plum. Interesting color and definitely purple - I was expecting something greyer, with a purple undertone. Might need to try it in a finer nib but likely not something I'd use a lot, if at all.

May try the Green #3 later today.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Today I doodled some foxes and colored them with Diamine Imperial Purple and Pelikan 4001 Violett.

Also, took notes with Diamine Asa Blue. Love that sheen.

Try Robert Oster Purple Rock. It is definitely grey with a purple undertone. The only disappointment for me is that it turns green on certain papers; if you don't mind green, this could be an interesting effect.

Experimenting with

Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Red,

J.Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite, and

Diamine Shimmertastic "Shimmering Seas."

Who knew shimmering inks were so well-behaved on low quality paper. Certainly not I.

Fresh fill of vintage Sheaffer Skrip Emerald Green in a P45 Flighter. Wanted to match it with KWZI Pine Green and Blackstone Daintree Green, which I also have in pens at the moment. I'll have to put it together on a couple of papers and scan it.
