I first saw this quote scrawled on a TTC bus (a public transit bus) about 5 years ago.

I used the half-uncial script with a no-name calligraphy pen inked with Noodler's Baystate Blue. I also used a Pilot Prera (with a Pilot 78G broad nib) inked with Diamine Marine. My fingers are stained with BSB. :)

Is it okay to use a dip pen

The initial post outlines the rules, and the very first one is fountain pens only. But that still leaves it wide open: there's really not all that much you cannot do with the right fountain pen/nib that you can do with a dip pen...

Not really a scribe, more of a Pharisee...

And some letters to brothers are better loved than others .....

This letter was an 18x24 sheet of newsprint. The pens were all fountain pens including some borrowed. All ink including the background is fountain pen ink. The letter is mostly a discussion of the fountain pens / ink and some news about home. Sorry the photo was so crummy, but I had to send the letter.

On Rose -

Here's mine. Pens used (and in the picture), TWSBI Diamond 540 with 1.1mm italic nib and Esterbrook J, Copper with 9556 nib. Inks are Montblanc Irish Green (as shown in the picture) and Noodler's Kiowa Brown (not in the picture, I only have a sample size and didn't think the little vial really suited the photograph.
