This is not a very recent picture, as I have several more bottles that aren't shown (need a new picture), but just picture a lot less room now.

This is so nice. And the light can't destroy it. Love it!

Yes, the colored dots are great!

Also, how did you get KWZI boxes? None of mine have ever come in boxes.

I ordered directly from Konrad. The full bottles come in boxes.

<snipped the photos so thread loads faster ;) >

I really LOVE your color coding on the tops of bottles and boxes. I usually end up picking each bottle up to look at the label, and sometimes I end up picking up the same bottle twice. I am definitely going to get some colorful dot stickers to make it easier.

Drawer 4 ... wow!

Those are white dots, which I then coloured with inks. :)

Thank you for the explanation on how to procure "colored dots!" It is ingenious & perhaps I may even attempt same "some day." BUT I think Konrad MUST like you because I have also ordered directly from him & did not receive my "full bottles" in boxes. I don't really care (& assumed it was easier to ship that way with his attentive packaging) but I was surely surprised to see yours. Much like the bird watchers who are convinced they are seeing a new species of bird for the first time. (I admit to being possessed by fixation to noticing details in ink that are "new to me.")

It's the first time that I ordered KWZ inks. I've no idea what they looked like. Maybe it's a recent change?

Yes, is a recent change. Is part of the new "Smart Packing" process. :D

Vannes is been getting the new boxes too.

Ray, whenever you find yourself in an MB boutique, buy a bottle of whatever LE ink they have released. You will be glad that you did.

Actually, I currently have some inks on order from Lacournneducomte. I can add some of the colors that I like (lavender purple, corn poppy red, Irish Green). But as far as Leo Tolstoy goes, someone sent me a letter written using that ink, the ink looked kind of pale so I'm not sure.

Currently, the order is on hold since he is getting some special order inks from de atrementis for me.

Nothing fancy for my favourite ink maker. Just cardboard boxes for my UK-based Sailor inks. The Kobe and Jentle bottles are stacked 3 bottles high in the box.

I also keep more bottles of Sailor exclusive inks in Australia.

I think this is about a quarter of my overall ink collection. I have other brands stored in various cupboards, drawers and boxes. I don't put them on display.

You leave me speechless....

49 diamond shaped bottles. Multiples bottles of the colors you like or different colors?

All different - apart from the multiples in the box on the right (4 of Sweet Potato Purple).

I would say, in mitigation of the rather obscene quantities on display, that I have opened and used them all, and also sent lots of samples from the bottles to other ink lovers around the world, so they can share my pleasure. I don't hoard and don't sell them on for profit. :-)

I wouldn't call them obscene, amazing would be a better word. :)

I am planning to have a somewhat similar quantity of sailor shop exclusive inks by April next year, but those would be repeats of colors I like (like 3 bottles of Cigar). Mostly from Sankodo, shousaikan, pen & message, tsutaya and maybe bungbox if they switch back to diamond shaped bottles. :)

Some people living locally have also asked for some samples when I get them, so I guess I'll sell them a few bottles at cost like you do. :)

Migo - those are impressive.

Nice choices :-)

My recent BungBox purchases were in the diamond shaped bottles.

I don't actually sell bottles: I just give away free samples. People always reciprocate in one way or another, so I benefit as well :-)

So... the next time you write me a letter, feel free to tape the envelope to the top of one of those boxes and add a few stamps. Yes? Thanks :P

... meanwhile, I am still working on discovering the location (s) of the super-duper top-secret Inky Migo lair. Any hints? :)

I have sent the owner, Kaoru-San a mail to ask whether bottles are available in diamond shape or not. :)

I avoid making multiple purchases within a short period of time from the same seller, better to get everything in one go.

Actually, some have asked for an entire bottle. So can't give away a full bottle. I have ordered a few extras for them, but pen & message doesn't do that(only one bottle per color per customer), so giving them something from Sankodo. :)
