Hey all, I just had someone contact me saying they had this pen and it was mine if I wanted it, and that is how I realized I'd totally forgotten to give you guys the promised update on this

 

So, using BigEddie's suggestion, I did find one eBay seller who had these in stock, and ordered two. They came in just 2-3 weeks (from China, so that's not too bad at all) and they work pretty well! Well, I only tried the one, but still. I think it's just a touch rougher than the other one (that I lost) but it may be that I used a drier ink on the new one.

 

The funniest part about this whole thing is that I recently lost the second pen as well! I don't think it's lost for good, like the other one was which I forgot somewhere - I think this one's just rattling around somewhere behind a piece of furniture or something, so I might find it some time if I can be @rsed to look a bit more thoroughly! But it's weird lol, really not having much luck with these things, am I

 

Anyway, the name of the eBay seller was ahai006. Seeing as it's been several months since I spoke to the guy, he may not have anymore left in stock, but if you're into these, it's probably worth a shot! Otherwise, use BigEddie's idea and try to find someone. All you need to do is run a search for Luoshi fountain pens and then email the ebay sellers that show up. I only bothered emailing the ones who had ebay shops, because it's much easier to find those (you just look to the left of the search results, there is a short list saying 'matching ebay shops' or something like that) and because I figured they're be more likely to have unlisted stock compared to the ones without a shop

Yep, that's right WC Lee! It wasn't on ebay back when I first posted, and I hadn't seen it on ebay for a while before, so I didn't think it was worth looking now. Thanks for doing so though, it makes it easier for anyone to get these who was reading the thread now :-) It's also about the price I paid for my two in Autumn, right down to the free shipping. Although I got to pick colors, which I'm not sure is an option with this. So if you have a preference, it may be worth checking in first.

INORITE? They are just too cute. They're still functional though because they post securely - the cap screws on to the back - and because of the sac-filling mechanism that lets you carry way more ink than you would imagine looking at the size! At the price, you can get one for every bag or favorite ink color (they'd probably be a bit of a pain to rinse out for color changes, so this is handy).

Thank you for your post. I had forgotten about mine that I bought a few years ago as was trying out all kinds of FPs. Made me get it out again and ink it. Its so cool and always a conversation starter!

I have had the Luoshi cigarette pens for a while now. I also use the Jinhao Pocket Missile. Great for stuffing in my jeans pocket without worrying about it leaking.

I keep my spare cigarette pens in a cigarette case...always gets a laugh from my buddies!
