Hello everyone,

 

There is a Manila-based pen club called FPN-Philippines. Its members include those that are members on this board, and Filipinos who are based overseas and routinely come home to visit. We also have members who are from other countries but who visit the Philippines regularly for work or vacation. Some of our members also frequent the other pen boards.

 

The group has been around for four years, and was founded by Parker Duofold and Vacumatic lover penmanila. Our yahoogroup email list (where most of the discussions take place) is at FPN-Philippines. We also have a Facebook group page "Fountain Pen Network-Philippines".

 

We recently celebrated our 4th anniversary with a visit to the Malacanang Palace (seat of Philippine government) Museum.

 

Upcoming events include:

 

September 24 (Monday) pen meet at the Alumni Cafe, University of the Philippines campus in Diliman. This begins at lunch time and lasts until 4pm.

 

October 6 (Saturday) pen meet at Amici Ayala Triangle, Makati. This is also from 12pm to 4pm.
