Twsbi Nib Length

Hey folks,

I was wondering if anyone knew the length of the TWSBI 540 nibs. I'm wondering if a 23.5mm long nib will fit the TWSBI. It's a flex nib and after seeing it on Mauricio's site, I figured I'd see if I could put it together myself, but don't have the pen in hand to measure myself and wanted to grab the nib ahead of time if I can get an answer on whether it will fit or not.

Edit:

I'm actually also considering the Vac 700. I'm just not sure what nib size a new #6 is comparable to in vintage pens. I saw the one that was done with the Boston Safety Pen nib, but I think that was a #3.

I just measured a spare I have, it's 26mm from tip to tail. It might still fit lengthwise, but there is the diameter to take into consideration too. Keep in mind that the feed might not be able to keep it supplied with ink when flexed.

Sorry to bring back this post from the dead, but does anyone know how much space there is between the tip of the nib and the end of the cap when capped? That is to say, if I have a 37mm long nib (as opposed to the 35mm stock nib), and it did fit on the Vac 700, would there still be enough space in left in the cap?

Thanks to anyone who can offer some input.
