Well, just checked my account at Photobucket, the b*#$%^ds are holding my photos hostage until I upgrade to a paid account. So, can't even download the photos and then upload to service I use now.....

I will see if I still have the pics on my computer and if so, upload them......

So, it goes.....

😐

UPDATE

OK, figured out a workaround for now....

I can go to the links in my original posts and open a page with the photo that way.

Then I take a screenshot of photo to get a copy on my computer.

Then will upload photos and edit links in my posts....

At least I will get a copy of photos back quickly this way.

That is effectively already having downloaded the individual image file from Photobucket's server onto your computer (and temporarily stored in your browser application's cache). It's only after the application has retrieved the data constituting the image, that it can render it in new browser window/tab/page for display on your screen.

You should be able to just do a ‘save as’, once the image is displayed, in your browser and keep a findable copy (on your computer, with whatever name you want to give it) of the original file you'd uploaded to Photobucket; no screenshot is necessary.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

I already had tried doing save as, but image was in 'webP' format, not jpeg or gif....so, can't use it to upload.

Would you mind giving me an example of such?

All six of the images, for which the URLs is given in your post shown above, can be opened in a browser (by requesting those URLs directly) and then saved as JPG files locally. (They're in my Mac's Downloads folder now, but I'm not going to repost your images as demonstration, without at least clearing it with you first.)

Since we are sharing beautiful Deltas let me add one. The original version of the Pompeii. Perhaps the most beautiful pen in my collection.

@bugmdThat celluloid IS very beautiful. The contrast is very dramatic! I really miss Delta's silver work on pens. The production cost must have been high with much labor process.

One of my favorites! Love the greenish gray with the deep red! Cap band should be solid gold (333). But celluloid is not the most stable; not very critical but mine shows some shrinkage. Bought mine after visiting Pompeii 😉

Cheers

Thanks for the good words, sansenri....appreciate it!

Meanhwhile.....

A reminder to all, that this is meant to be a reference thread, objective info only about the Delta LE pens.

If you want to discuss Delta pens or post a non-LE pen, etc, please start another thread so that we keep this thread clean and make it easy for people to find the reference info.

Thanks!

I found out this old topic, that deserves to be updated!

As we all know, Delta reopened after 5 years, with the same owner in the same factory.
They restarted producing the classic series (Dolcevita, We'), and finally, few months ago, Delta launched a new Indigenous People: Sentinelesi (almost 10 years after the last Indigenous People collection!)

Limited Edition 388 fountain pens + 388 rollerballs.

It's made of several parts of different resin's colors: blue for cap and barrel, like the sea and sky surrounding the North Sentinel's island; green like the forest over the island, and brown of earth.
Its clip is inspired by rudimental weapon used by the North Sentinel's people.
The cap top and the nib are engraved with a map of North Sentinel island.

Now all Delta pens mounts Jowo nibs, available in a lot of tips: EF, F, M, B, Stub, and also Flex F and Flex EF.
Filling system is piston, fully made at Delta's laboratory.
