That's the problem - ink. You should be using a Dremmel

This is absolutely fascinating, thank you for such a tremendous show! Having never heard of this, my mind is blown in several directions. Man, anything to get someone to haul away the garbage for free?

I can't stop thinking about how every construction site has Port-O-Johns on it. :http://www.smileyvault.com/albums/basic/smileyvault-puke.gif:

It could lead to some good art, but for writing it seems heinous.

I've used another brand of this "paper" (via smiggle.com.au - no affiliation) and only had a problem with Schneider ink cartridges - the blue faded away to almost nothing over a couple of days. Other inks - J Herbin, Diamine and Private Reserve were all fine. I love the texture, the smell, the way it "bounces" when you write on it and how it feels a little damp.

Yeah, I've got to say that after using it for another couple of weeks, I actually kind of enjoy having it in my bag. I use it with the same music nib that worked so well here and Iro inks and it really looks pretty and is so smooth. It is really nice the way it 'bounces' as you say. It's a totally different experience.

Looks like solvents and surfactants at play. Rather than absorb on fiber dissipates or travels into pores?? Could be a simple capillary action. Wonder how it does with gel pens or rollerballs.

Well we tested it over the weekend with some gels and rollerballs... and I'm not posting any pix because it was absolutely unremarkable. Nothing. I don't know what's going on with some of these FP inks.

Yeah but, let me tell you, it smells about as far from waste as you can imagine. It smells very chemically. Almost... almost chemically enough that I don't want my daughter to handle it.
