Wow

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

All the pens in the front row are inked and have custom Italic Nibs.

WOW!!!

I love the stand! Where did you get it? And who did the nibs?

The stand (this one is custom) came from a guy on eBay. I bought a total of 4. Someplace in FPNs archives I posted the information.

2 pens I bought used from sellers who had them done. 1 was done by Edison pens. 2 by Mottoshaw. 1 by Binder. 1 by me. 2 are Sheaffer. 1 is Stipula.

OOH. I am not mechanical enough to even take my pens apart so I don't pretend to be able to do my own nibs. I'm impressed.

My Safaris with their designated inks. (Kujaku looks very blue in this photo...)

I totally understand matching the inks to the outside of the pens.

I had a feeling!

I also enjoy Noodler's Red-Black+Turquoise Safari combo (for contrast).

That would get me into trouble with more than a few. Which ink would you match to a clear demonstrator?

Noodler's Blue Ghost?

If I mention a supplier, I am ONLY affiliated if I EXPLICITLY say so.

Picture did not turn out great. Looking at this makes me realize I don't have a red, green, or black inked right now.... time to get busy. I think I gave the one inked in red away yesterday... and I ran out of black ink in a Lamy Wednesday....

These are the four I carry with me. I write primarily with the first two--the Cavalier Red/Black Duocolor for "work" stuff and the purple Lamy for "play" (especially my fiction). That one gets a workout (all play and no work makes BuggyQ a shiny, homeless girl). The other two are for stuff I need bulletproof, and the Singularity is my signature pen. I liked the Bad Green Gator okay by itself, but it's a little too casual for things like checks, so I did the mix to give it a bit more gravitas. And to try mixing--I'm adventurous (hence the eyedropperizing of the Singularity).

Not sure what's up with the blue Lamy being so ultrafine--I think I may have some paper fuzz stuck in the nib, and I just haven't gotten a chance to clean it yet.

I have two more Singularities at home (one in granite inked with El Lawrence, one in black inked with Liberty's Elysium).

Forgive the frightful penmanship. This is my surveyor's handwriting, which is actually legible. You do not want to see the normal BuggyQ hand. I'm hoping the pens will inspire me to improve so I can get more shading than I do with my chickenscratches.

Disinterested intellectual curiosity is the life blood of real civilisation.

Haha!

I just got a new Lamy Safari in white and I am seriously challenged as to what ink I should use. I'm looking at the grey o-ring... I think I'll try J.Herbin's Gris Nuage...
