Show Us Samples Of Your Inked Pens Today

Today, I think for the first time since February, I have no student marketed Sheaffer Cartridge Pen inked.

Hedges Clipboard I took from my parents "stuff in the basement" when I was a teen; it has US Navy stamps on it, and probably is from my father's time in the Navy (very late 1950s). Hedges seems to have been a company from Chicago which is no longer in business.

So you too bought one of those pink stipulas. (I bought the Z nib). I love the clipboard?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

This is Clairefontaine Feuillets Mobiles "Seyès" french-ruled paper. This paper is hard to find in the USA. The paper is sitting on top of a Rhodia No 19 DotPad.

Thanks! Didn't recognize it, though it looked interesting.

The stand (this one is custom) came from a guy on eBay. I bought a total of 4. Someplace in FPNs archives I posted the information.

2 pens I bought used from sellers who had them done. 1 was done by Edison pens. 2 by Mottoshaw. 1 by Binder. 1 by me. 2 are Sheaffer. 1 is Stipula.

Nice pens, but even nicer calligraphy with the M400.

Sure. I posted the item in the marketwatch forum where I relayed what you said about the sale price; the pictures showing its relative size to a hand are my hands. I went to Bertram's in person to buy it, since I'm living in the D.C./Baltimore area now.

I hope you keep the rubber bands handy; I've still found it very tight when getting the section free from the barrel past the first time. I suppose that is what I want from an ED pen that I might put in my pocket.

Now it has about 1 ml of #06 Binnenhof Blues in it.

I was going to ask if it was a test tube stand. It looks too nice for that, though.

You are correct, it was made just for pens. He was open to any suggestions I made when making a custom rack.

I wish I could remember the guys info, think a few folks on FPN would be interested in giving him some business.

FIRST POST!!!

Long time lurker... first time poster!!!

My inked girls are below. I tried to match barrel and ink color as much as possible.

The Waterman was originally inked with Herbin - Orange Indien, but she was not happy. She became real dry/skippy and very scratchy, we switched to PR - Black Magic Blue and now she is singing... :clap1: I am waiting on Diamine Orange to see if I can make both of us happy !!

I am also looking for a darker red... The Waterman red.. is just "meh".. (I am considering Noodler's Red-Black and Widow Maker)

They are all fantastic writers!! The waterman can be temperamental with some inks thou. :glare:
