20121212_123701.jpgSkyOrchid, those are some unique and beautiful pens. What's the ringtop on the bottom? Is it a vacuum filler like a Pilot 823?
That Silver one is a beauty!

If you mean the one at the bottom, it's gold filled. But thank you, it's a lot of fun.

That Sea Glass Levenger is quite pretty.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks Amber. I love that pen, one of my first fountain pens, and still one of my favorites. I'm always proud to pull it out of my pocket at a meeting - it's pretty eye-catching. What is a bit difficult to see in the photos is that it's translucent, so you can see a little of the guts of the pen through the acrylic. It's like looking into a tide pool. :clap1:

I don't think that Levenger is selling these anymore - they don't have it on their website. Maybe this will end up being a collector's item.

I always like to fill it with green or blue/green inks - reminds me of the ocean. It's a smooth, great writer as well.

I have ten fountain pens, seven of which are currently inked up. I love them all equally! Some are cheap (Lamy Safari and Vista), some are expensive (Homo Sapiens, 146), but they all write so well for me.

That "Sea Glass" Levenger Pen is way cool.

Here is a horrible photo of my inked pens:

Maker/Model/model name or color/nib

Pilot Metropolitan gold plain medium

Pelikan P-55 Future yellow fine

Sheaffer Cartridge Pen 2nd gen trans red fine

Sheaffer Cartridge Pen 1st gen clear

Stipula Passport pink ribbon LE fine

Récife Crystal gold fine

Waterman C/F green medium

People keep saying Japanese M is like Western F, but I know the Pilot Varsitys (M) I've used write wider than my Western F nib pens. However the Metropolitan M nib is basically like the F nibs I'm used to, so I'll stop doubting that bit of conventional wisdom for now.
