Hmmmm.... stuck in a rut? Hey, they're not all blue! I have some blue-black and even black in there!

Thanks :) The Purple Martin is a dark purple colour, but it doesn't show up in my bad phone photo very well. I usually have a pen with yu-yake orange as well for highlighting, but normally I'm just using blues and blacks at work.

How do you like the duo?

I actually like it quite a bit. The BB steel nib is quite smooth. I find that with wetter inks it writes super broad for me.(I usually prefer fines or thin mediums)

As a highlighter, it works, but I find that it works better to put notes in the margins with the highlighter ink. The ink has an ammonia like odour and actually works great in between dark colours to help flush the pen. It will actually erase Parker Quink washable blue from the page! I found this out the hard way!
