Deep Burgundy And Gold Custom Fountain Pen

Finally! The first pen for my new website. I had this pen "finished" before my little vacation, but tinkered with it some more today. I'm happy now :roflmho: Actually, I had to redo the section, and ended up modifying other things a bit.

The pen is made of resin that I poured myself. I call it Deep Burgundy w/Gold Marble. It is fairly transparent when held up to the light - should be plenty good enough to see ink levels.

A fairly small pen as these go.

12mm cap to barrel threads

Cap Diameter at opening: 16mm

Max Barrel Diameter: 13.45mm

Length: 14.5cm

Open Length: 12.9cm

Cap Length: 6.9cm

Posted Length: 18.0cm (posting is possible, but not an intended design feature)

Total Weight: 24g

Uncapped Weight: 14g

Nib: #5 Gilded Bock

Filling: c/c, but I'd be tempted to use it as an eyedropper.

Wow! That's a beautiful pen! Love that blank you made. Very classy, that marble look. I also like the shape of the barrel, the finial, and the section. Great work all the way around!

The blank you made is phenomenal. What did you use (or do) to get the marbled effect? Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pens.
