What nib width do you prefer?

It's currently neck-a-neck between medium/italic medium (49 votes) and fine/italic fine (51 votes). Broad/italic broad is lagging way behind on 15 votes.

I like italic medium best in the list, though if it's a real italic you have to take extra care with your writing (A Good Thing in my case). For note-taking, I like standard Fine.

 

But best of all, I like a smooth semi-flex Fine, as on a Waterman 52. That option wasn't on the list, so I voted italic medium.

This one's hard to answer, as I pick different pens & nibs (from extra-fine to stub/italic) for different things. I voted fine-medium, as some old Sheaffers which I really like as well as my Waterman are like that and I prefer this width for regular writing. I do like my stub/italic fine nib, too, though, if what I have to write leaves me enough space.

I think I voted italic fine, which is about the median of the writing widths I use, but I tend to match the nib to the paper I use.

Although most of my pens are fine point, when it comes to enjoyment, give me a fine italic every time!
