Good evening everyone!

 

I'd like to ask if it might be possible for me to borrow the Green LJ 9048 extra flexible fine? This is my first time participating in the borrowing program and my first experience with an Esterbrook (aside from the dip pen nibs).

 

I do have experience with flexible nibs and promise to treat the pen correctly and return it in exactly the same condition in which it arrives. I have several different inks available to use and I suppose Sheaffer Skrip Blue is probably one of the best ones to use, especially in a pen on short term loan.

 

If it's not possible, I understand, but I would greatly enjoy the opportunity to try one of these great pens.

I must have missed that, but I did get a very nice note back from Miz when then pens were returned, along with enough money to cover my postage costs. Another great loan and continued confirmation this is a worthwhile program. Thanks Bruce for starting it and keeping things going.

I combed over the loaner list and there are no x555s. However, I think I may have a 1555. If you don't mind a bit of a wait, I will see if I do, get it all cleaned out and be sure it writes decently and screw that into my Loaner pen, a 3 rib Black Tranny that has a 2442 in it now. Let me know here if you'd like to do that.

 

Again, my apologies for missing these loan out requests.

I too have several 1555 nibs (in the UK) if anyone did want to try one.
