It's amazing how slow this board gets, until I get busy and can't find the time to log in for a few days. Suddenly there are bunches of new posts and even a couple new Estie pen pics. Maybe I should take a sabbatical more often.

It would have been just fine if you'd named her Estelle, though I'd have to run to my own Estelle and whispered to her that she was the only Estelle for me. I do think Lily is much more fitting for a blue frankenpen. She is blue, beautiful and not at all frightening. I'm surprised at the short time it took you to put her together.

 

So ... what's your next project, perhaps a Herman to complete the set?

I liked both the Munsters and the Addams, and as I do not have a green one to make a Herman, I am working on Wednesday right now.

The original Wednesday is much recovered and hasreally nice things to say in the comentaries on the first season DVD set. She remember's John Astin teaching her to snap her fingers for the theme song.

Not odd at all. An exquisite new direction to introduce flex into an Estie in view of the rarity of original equipment flex nibs. The blue of the pen is an exciting color pattern, and blue and gold work superbly. I envy your beautiful writing.

You have got to be kidding. I was born left handed and was beaten into using my right hand. I scrawl, hence my user name. I consider my handwriting to be appalling by the standards that my teachers expected, and by the standards of many of the samples I have seen in here. I am actually ashamed of it.

I am left handed, and the nuns gave up in frustration the attempt to make me write right handed. Your handwriting is much, much nicer than mine.

 

Good luck with that beautiful Estie. I don't go along so well with flexy nibs, digging them into the paper too often. Those who can use them write lovely script. Duffers like me depend on cursive italics.
