Waterman Star Nibs

I know this thread is old, but does anyone know much a waterman #2 star nib would cost?

They look really nice and I'd like to add one to my collection.

I got it for sixty bucks on eBay, from an estate seller who was a normal person and didn’t know what it was. Not an insane bargain, but I can look at myself in the mirror. That said, putting it in the fountain pen was not cheap.

I am considering the purchase of a early 1900's Waterman eyedropper which has a Star nib.

Unfortunately, I have some reservations about the authenticity of that nib.

Also, unfortunately, all the photos of Star nibs which were previously posted on this excellent but old thread have been removed.

Would anyone have some photos of some Star nibs which they are willing to post?  I'd like to compare the nib I am considering with several photos of bonafide Star nibs.

Thank you @KandyPenz, your photos are much appreciated.

Would others please post some additional photos?  I know there was more than one style of the Star imprint and, in fact, there was at least one version where the Star replaced the breather hold.

All examples would be greatly appreciated so I can fully assess the authenticity of vintage Star nib currently up for sale.

This is the only image I know of such nib (from L, Michael Fultz Collection / Gregory H Sachs collection).

Best to focus on the nib imprint rather than the star shape cut-out.

Great reference source!

Thanks so much.
