Here are another to words: CONGRESS and CONNOISSEUR. Not my best, but acceptable. Enjoy! I am still using the Pelikan Berlin with the Iroshizuku Fuyu-syogun. I am liking this ink.

Somewhere in my house I have a book called _An Exultation of Larks_ which contains all the different descriptions of "venery" ("a pride of lions", "an exultation of larks", "a pod of whales", "a murder of crows", etc.). These terms date from the Middle Ages, although I don't recall exactly why or how the terms were coined.

Now you've got me curious as to what the appropriate term for baboons is.... Which means that I'm going to have to go figure out where that book ended up.... :headsmack:

Swell. Like I don't already have enough to do today....

And I thought that reading about pens and inks on FPN was dangerous enough. :roflmho:

An Exaltation of Larks does seem to be an interesting book. I have put it on my wish list. Today's word is: CONTROVERSY.

This is so lovely and inspiring to watch. Several of the inks showcased have made it to my want list though haha.

I am back with more! The next words were made with Noodler's Lexington Gray. It is an interesting ink in the sense that when I run the eraser over it, the pigment comes off. I did that for CORONATION but not for CONVERSATION.

Today's word is CORPORAL. I am still on the monochromatic, gray mode. It matches today's nasty fall rainy day. Yuck. The inks is still Noodler's Lexington Gray. I got a rather large sample of it.

This is so fun to watch, I think I'll do my own version as a part of learning palmer. I'm not familiar with the dictionary but it seems right up my alley from what I've seen here. I'm very impressed with your interpretation. :happyberet:

Snowie, I am glad you are enjoying it. It is fun to practice the penmanship and draw as well. For us, non-writers, it is a good way to write as well as fill up a few journals. Oh! And to play with pens and ink!

Here are today's words: CORSAIR,COURT FOOL, COWARD and CRAFT.

Yes, it is an interesting color. It has a lot of pigment. These next two words are the last of Lexington Grey. They are CRAYFISH and CREDITOR.

I am glad you are enjoying them. It is nice when every once in a while a funny idea pops up. The book, itself, is funny too.

The news for today is that the grayscale stage is over... for now. Back to colors! Today's words are:
