That's a very nice green  And the markings on that wood are incredible, almost like a zebra's stripes on the cap. It looks like you get on well with that nib too, your writing looks extra neat in this entry. :)

Taint me! Tis the ink!

We like how you "tainted" Plistumi's work. Thanks to both of you.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I keep up with the Sailor ink saga. I know that you put a lot of work into getting those beautiful inks. I want to make a trip to Japan sooner or later to explore all the department stores, pen shops, pen makers, etc. It seems like fountain pen paradise!

Paradise for fountain pens, yes but also hell for your finances! There truly is no upper limit to how much one can spend on pen, paper, ink or pen cases. But I must say that it nice to be able to partake of Japan's fountain pen bounty little by little, over time. Just too much to enjoy all at once.

However, we are getting off topic. Ink and pens are of little value with out the talent and skill to use them, which plistumi clearly has.

Frank C: I most certainly did well at the LA Show.

Tinjapan: Your are such and ink-abler.

I.M.: Yes, the nib and I do get along very well. I am very pleasantly surprised with it.

For today: LOQUACITY.

Did he also do Laconic? I adore those two words.

The wood on that pen has so much character, and you've captured it nicely in that photo. I could sit and gaze at it for hours, and if it were mine I would probably be fondling it for hours too (the pen).

Frank C: This was really fun to draw.

Amberleadavis: Nope, no laconic.

I.M. : The wood is certainly nice and I like to caress the pen. (So she says as she slips it down her cleavage...what cleavage?)

FayeV: I am glad you are enjoying it. So have I, throught the years. Do you pen posse over there in the Bay Area?

Here is LORD. The pen is the last of the LA Pen Show acquisitions.... just in time for the LI Pen Show over by by neighborhood. Aaah! This hobby is bad for the pocket. The pen is an Artus pen. The design reminds me of Disney's interpretation of the Sugar Plum Fairy in Fantasia. Here is the video:

Here is the drawing and the pen. Thank you Jon Szanto for the beautiful ink.

You are most welcome. Lovely pen, didn't see that one, must have been after I left LA. Have fun in LI and then SF!

Wow! That is quite a pen. And it certainly does remind me of Fantasia. That Persian Rose ink is beautiful Jon is full of surprises. I have heard about Persian Rose for years and seen a few bottles for sale—at ridiculously high prices—but I have never really seen it in action.

Keep up the good work!

JonSzanto: Come to SF!

Amberleadavis: The picture does not do the pen justice.

Frank C: Jon definitely is full of surprises. I shall keep working on it.

Earthdawn: It was nice to see you too.

FayeV: Come to pen posse this weekend... pretty please... if you can. I will bring my journals...

For today, I have LORD. The scans came kind of wonky, sorry. I have the nib ground to a finer fine at the L.I. Pen show this past weekend. I like it better now.

Try to stop me. ;) It's in the plans, nothing short of dire stuff will keep me away. Too much fun last year.

I love that Persian Rose. Not really part of my palette, but nice, anyway. I also like the octopi—they might be related to amberlea's signature creature.
