Plistumi, do you use up your ink every time you do a page (or two)? Or do you dump the extra ink?

Tes rires retroussés comme à son bord la rose,

Effacent mon dépit de ta métamorphose;

Tu t'éveilles, alors le rêve est oublié.

-Jean Cocteau, from Plaint-Chant, 1923

Wow, the wash makes quite a difference in the color. Or do you think it's the paper?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Most of the times I use up the ink. On occasions in which I have not like the ink, then out it goes. Most of the drawings are made with ink samples. When a color repeats, it is likely that I own a bottle of it.

The wash does make a difference. A brush also lays the ink differently on the paper.

do you have a trick for colouring large areas so evenly and sharply? you're drawings are amazing!

No trick, just patience and a steady hand.

Today's word is IMPUNITY. The pen is a Danitrio I found at the Los Angeles Pen Show. The next few drawings will have what I found there. It was a good show for pens and bad for the pocket!

An eye for insignificant details is a good sign you will do just fine in medical school...

As a sharp wit and powerful sarcasm is a sign that you already have.

Nice. Reminds me of a boat. (A hole in the water into which one throws money).

You are funny, Amberlea.

Here is INAUSPICIOUSLY. This one proved hard for me. The pattern on the pen looks like stonework. I loooove the inlay:

That's some stunning shading from an ink I've never gotten to shade. The pen / ink combo is beautiful and I like the imagery on the missile. Well done.

Hmm... I don't know that I would have used red for income... green or black certainly ... but given how our government thinks of income, I think the color is perfect especially given ink - rattler red - yes, it is going to bite us in the behind. I hate when the IRS goes in front of Congress and leave looking like the "good guys" seriously! If the write off of gambling debt is not "income" how can the write off from the foreclosure sale on a house be "income". However, I can see how write offs might inkcome.

This was a hard one to interpret. Took me several days of thinking. Here is INCOMPATIBILITY. This is the end of this journal. I am starting a new one. The pen is a Parker 51 with a Kullock cap (in your honor, Ethernautrix, and as a thank you for the sample of Tsuki-yo). The cap shows the shield of Puerto Rico so it is special to me.

Thanks for the kudos.

Today's word is INCOMPOSSIBLE. Thank goodness for current events (they made my interpretation easy.)
