So, Simon Said (cute name), what inks did you use? They shade beautifully!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thank you for your comment, actually my nick name is simpler that it seems. It's simply my family name concatenated with the beginning of my first name ;)

About the inks and pens:

The blue is Sheaffer cartridge blue (in viewpoint B ).

The black is Sheaffer cartridge black (in viewpoint F ).

Those are my on-the-go pen to draft arround ;)

The green is Iroshizuku Shin Ryoku in Pilot Metropolitan.

My camera caught a bit more shading that there actually is, but the blue shades a bit, due to the nibage (copyright Stephen Brown), and as Shin Ryoku goes, depending of the nib, you get more or less shading.

I like your calligraphy, Simonced. Keep at it!

CatBookMom: Thanks for the reference on Phryne Fisher. Looks like I have a bunch of books to read!

I drank some coke so now I cannot sleep. Hence this post at off hours. Here are FICKLENESS and FIDDLE. They took me an eon and a day to draw. Some ideas come easily and others need to stew.

I must say I am on intensive pen and ink therapy. Awareness of self and the environment? Not so much. rolleyes.gif

Diablitos erectos is the name that Ariel Kullock gave to the cap work of the 51. Verde is for me to remember that I used the green "Diablitos erectos" 51 because I have a red one too. And the name of the ink is to remember which ink I used.

Cyber6 and Newjelan. I really like Ariel Kullock's work. I got this Pink Panther pen because it's the Pink Panther. Too funny. His artsy caps are great too. I have met him many times at some pen shows. He is on ebay too (kullock).
