These are all so beautiful! I do not know whether I am utterly inspired by the amazing art and lettering or completely discouraged because I could never draw that well :) I love all of the illustrations! I wish these were all in book form!

I've done another word, selfish:

I like your contributions, too. I like how you drew the capital S in Selfish, with the cascading curlicues.

New letter, yay! Today's word is FAIRY. I used one of Ariel Kullock's fantasy Parker 51s. The design is a mischievous devil and a skeleton. For now, you get to see only its pitchfork. The ink is Iroshizuku tsukushi.

You know I love your drawings, but that Kullock cap is great! I love that skeleton! What does the devil look like? (Or are we not supposed to know? Or do we...?)

notworthy1.gif Holy Mother of God!

Those are some amazing drawings! Some real talent in this thread... I just have to get on the wagon.

I have a new word today, FAMOUS. Apologies for the quality of the picture, traveling means smartphone pics and I am not a very good photographer. The pen is made of red micarta.

I was incredibly honored to have a chance to see the book (or, rather, books) in person last night, and hold them in my own hands. They are even more amazing in person than they are on the screen -- something that didn't seem possible. I still contend this needs to be published upon completion.

I had the privilege of seeing these works in person at the LA Pen Show, and I can say that they are even more whimsical and delightful in person than one sees here online.

Kudos ! :notworthy1:

Today's/yesterday's word is FASHION. It was great meeting those I met at the LA Pen Show. I had a blast and ended up with a few new toys (Like the red Micarta Stylo Art).

As for the devil... Well, here it is. He is quite mischievous. I really like Ariel Kullock's art work. Sorry for the bad image stitching. I do not know how to do that, but I imagine you can get the idea.

Ok, it was just ridiculously fun to meet Plistumi this weekend in LA! A great way to meet was over dinner, and as she shared 'the books' for us to look at, it did become clear how tactile and vibrant her artform is in person. Both a joy and an honor, and what a nice and interesting person.

I hope we'll meet up again! (Someplace warm, eh, Pli?) :)

It was nice meeting you too, Jon. And if it is warm, it is for me! Today's word is FEAST. This red micarta pen from Stylo Art is really nice to write with...and look at. It is polished and feels nice and soft!
