Quick post. Today's words are: DEJEUNER, DELEGATION and DELIBERATION. Just in time for the elections!

Marta -- I love the DELIBERATION, ha ha ha! These are great.

Thank you for recommending tanglepatterns.com. Because of your drawings and Sketchy's suggestion that I add color to my Schiele Variations drawring, I'm having even more fun: Anybody Sketch With Their Nakaya? thread. (Don't want to hijack this thread; wanted to share my excitement.) :-)

Next plan is to fill a notebook with illustrations, perhaps with shapes not exclusively rectangular or parallelogrammical, heh, inspired by your notebooks.

Jgrden: Glad you had fun. I loved your expression "Shoot a mile."

countrydirt: Join in the fun!

bearcat: Makes me happy to know your are enjoying these. I am having fun as well and have learned a lot.

ethernautrix: I liked your sketches. Keep at it!

I have a couple more words today: DELUGE and DELUSION.

Truly great sketches and wish I had the skill to 'keep up'

Did anyone else reads Ethernautrix's post as I did, ok without glasses, "anyone sketch with their Nakaya?" and at first glance read it as "anyone sketch when their naked"? Thought not but tell you something I have never found my glasses as quickly !!! :headsmack:

newjelan: This ink is on my list of potential purchases. Although I think Asa-gao may hold an edge.

Pen nut: I like the idea of sketching naked with a Nakaya. Wonderful Freudian slip!

Todays word is DENTIST. Ouch!

The Edison Beaumont's nice, too.

Yes, it is. The nib is like a paintbrush; it is soo soft! I ordered from Brian in the DC Show and I just got it.

One of today's words is a rehash as I was deluded and did not think I had drawn it. Here are: DELUSION (again) and DEPENDENT.

Ha ha ha! Delusion is PERFECT! I've read studies that that's how men see themselves; whereas, women tend to focus on their flaws.

Great illustration!

Today is a milestone day. There are two more words for today: DESTINY and DIAPHRAGM. And they mark the end of my Leuchtturm 1917 book. Off to start a new one!

Plistumi, I gotta tell ya', your drawings are freakin' brilliant!

I've taken a few runs at Abrose Bierce's hilarious satire, but have always grown weary and abandoned it due to its daunting size. Your clever, insightful, and awesomely executed ink drawings have made reading ABs work a premier event, each new entry eagerly anticipated more than the last. I think you should notify the Bierce estate and discuss publication. They'd be all over your illustrations like politicians on a campaign contribution. ;)

Notbob, thanks for the compliments. I will definitely take your idea into consideration. Keep enjoying!

Today's word is DIARY as I hunker down in my home watching Sandy take down branches and flood the basement. Alas!

No work for the next two days, sooooo....... more time to sketch!

LIPA sucks! (The local unprepared power authority. Its contingency plan is: Oh! I will wait until they send help from other states) I grew up in Puerto Rico and it was never this bad. You know, the good thing about hurricanes is that you can prepare. (See how well Bloomberg and Christie prepared their areas? Still a lot of damage, but as ready as they could get. Not so with LIPA. Stupid LIPA).

No power for days (into the future) and no heat. I am cold an can't see. Being cold is the worst part. Aagh!

Okay. Enough ranting.

Here is DICTATOR.
