It certainly is a nice ink. Here is another with Yama-guri; CROSS.

More color for today, Diamine Syrah. I used one of our own Shawn Newton's pens. I love it! The words are: CUI BONO, CUNNING and CUPID.

That's so cool! Thanks for posting a pic! :)

Shawn, your pens are very cool and the project behind them even more so. I am really enjoying it and have been coming up with any little excuse to whip it out, use it and show it around. Here are more words: CURIOSITY and CURSE.

Wow! I am in awe.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I love your drawings, have been inspired by the progress in your writing and have been introduced to the works of Ambrose Bierce. Couldn't be better, really.

Thank you.

I don't want to brag, but, okay, I'm bragging. Plistumi came to the SF Pen Show, and I was able to hold these notebooks in my hands. Wow. They are something to see in this thread, but to hold the actual notebooks was a thrill and a highlight of the show.

Plistumi, you know why I kept mispronouncing "plistumi?" Because I kept trying to say "plustumi." Ha ha ha, I misspelled your name in my mind and kept trying to saying it that way. Doi.

Thank you for stopping by nibs.com's table and introducing yourself and having the notebooks with you! VERY COOL!

Wow.

Did you wear white cotton conservators' gloves to keep the pages pristine? Or did you just hope that plistumi used waterproof inks when you drooled on them in person? :roflmho:

Aww! Pen Posse crossing the globe! Sounds like a great idea!

Heh, I only ever drool in my sleep. However, I was sorely tempted to accidentally drop the notebooks into my bag. Somehow, though, when I say thoughts like that out loud, makes it harder to get away with. :-)

Seriously, though, plistumi's artwork has motivated me to be more active in drawing and to expand my repertoire beyond parallelograms. I want to make my own notebooks as colorful and interesting and enchanting.

esterbex, I would have loved to meet you! Hopefully there will be a chance in the future.

youstruckgold and ethernautrix, I like the idea of meeting around the world.

inkstainedruth: You crack me up. But now that you mention drool... that explains that big wet spot on one of the notebooks. The other one disappeared (have you seen it, ethernautrix?)

Oh, never mind. I found it and it has today's words! There is a new color and a new pen. The pen is another of Shawn Newton's pens. I love writing with it. The words are DARING and DATARY.

Yes, the stripes are awesome. It is one cool pen. I am attracted to bright colors like that orange like moths are attracted to the light.

Today's word is DAWN.

Oh! Ha ha ha, I misread that. I thought you were looking for the page with the drool mark on it, and I was going to say that I didn't drool on your notebook, but I might have licked a page. Oh yeah, the notebook! I put it back. Reluctantly. I figured, how will you fill up all those pages if I keep it?

And, yes! I love Shawn's orange-and-black pen! Thanks for letting me try it. I'm very impressed with his work.

And! There are other pages in your notebook, you'd drawn abstract designs that are just marvelous. There are glimpses in the video that I'll be uploading tonight, probably by the time it finishes loading, it'll be late, but it'll be tonight, hooray! Just quick tantalizing glimpses. :-)
