Dear Wim + fellow admins,

FP folk around the world were in a "tumult" without their daily fpn fix a+ the the "sister" site PT got a lot of queries as to what's happened to fpn.

 

Pen and Net Gods to the work, industrious mods, admins and web specialists have made "alles in ordening" (spelling?) again.

Stupendous! I got tired of cleaning pens and shopping for more. Great to know FPN is in the hands of someone that is able to make necessary fixes.

I dunno -- were there any tracking stats for the 3 day NYC power outage in the mid 1970s? Or the cascade fail of the Northeast grid a number of summers ago, that hit pretty much everyplace *except* Pittsburgh (the Powers that Be here said, "Ooh, some sort of problem up the line -- let's disconnect NOW!"); I was on vacation, camping about 40 miles north of Pgh, so we were only getting peripheral reports from a campmate who lives in Erie, which did get hit).

I vaguely remember the '65 incident (I was a little kid and we lived about 25 miles north of NYC at the time). And no, I *don't* have any younger siblings as a reminder.... :roflmho:
