"Stupid autocorrect. :headsmack: That's what I get for thinking I had proofread the whole thing. I was in fact talking about a baggie."

Oh that's hilarious!

I just use a plastic container with dividers I got at an art supply store - same idea as the pill container. It just has more sections.

The results are sometimes quite hilarious indeed: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/289189-molesting-replicas/

Small plastic boxes with built-in divided compartments can be bought at craft and art stores (like Michael's). You can also get small divided boxes from sporting stores that carry fishing supplies. They are used to store fishing flies and lures, snap swivels, etc.

I just keep spare nibs in a little plastic pencil box along with all of my spare cartridges. I handle it carefully without shaking it and I haven't had any issues with that method. Granted, the nibs in there are usually inexpensive ones. For my more expensive nibs, I keep them individually in a small little plastic baggie so they won't get scratched up.

My favourite method is using the cylindrical tubes that shaving styptic pencils are sold. The tubes are transparent and the caps are typically red. The length of the tube can be cut to the desired size. I prefer the tubes from the smaller diameter pencils, but that's just a personal thing.

Here's a visual aid:

In the same manner, many cosmetic & personal care items are sold in packages that can be repurposed. The idea is to see what you already have on hand or normally buy anyway. The shaving pencil just happens to be something frequently used in my own first aid kit.
