Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

As you can see, independent of paper, ball points did not hold up well.

From 123 to 130, I seem to have added them to the experiment without scanning them first, or I mis numbered them. I've scanned the results and given them a number

One of my favorites, a butterfly.

The crayola metallic pencils held up well. The leftover montblanc ink, didn't fare as well.

I'm watching the Giants vs. Cardinals baseball game! (Go Cards!) :clap1: :clap1: Ooh! Another run for the Cards!!! :clap1: :clap1: :clap1: :roflmho:

I think it is cool! I'm still waiting to see my sheets. No rush. I check back whenever the thread is updated.

rolleyes.gif I have them. That pesky stuff called work keeps getting in the way.

I didn't mean to sound ungrateful in my reply above, because I appreciate all the work it took you to do this.

Thanks for doing all of this.

I was sad to see Akkerman Binnenhof Blues fade to nearly nothing after about 1 week in a west facing window in Maryland in the Autumn, since I really liked that color. I'm also sad to see that nearly none of the bright/intense blues you tested weren't faded to un-readability, although there are more choices in dark/navy type blues that lived.

Liberty's Elysium didn't survive unscathed, but at least it was still fairly colorful and quite readable. That is probably good enough for me.

The Diamine and Akkerman inks did not survive well. I'm still uploading the files.

Akkerman #5, #15, #17, and #18 (I think I got that right) from your pages 6 and 9 that you've posted did all right. #5 is "Shocking Blue", but it is one of the dark blues. No bright/intense medium blues seem to do well; Liberty's Elysium maybe the best I've seen. It changes but is still readable; not good for art but okay for documents.

The Levenger Cobalt that seems good in my shorter 1 month spring in Seattle test is also a darker highly saturated type blue.

Oh, I didn't take it that way! I appreciate your efforts. I love your samples too. I am anxious to see how those Levenger inks stood up.

Well, I matched up samples I didn't find yours - I kept thinking I was missing some. Sure enough, one board is still at the caboose. (The one that has your samples) So, the Levenger inks will have gotten some extra sun. OOPS. I'll take them down tonight.
